High Speed Transmission by QAM-WCDMA Modulation

A very high speed wireless data communication in the range of 1 Gb/s is required for next generation (4G) mobile communication systems. This paper addresses the problems and solutions associated with that need. A scheme called Decision Feedback Cancellation along with optimum adaptive process is discussed which offers an increase in capacity by ten folds over existing system without increase in noise. This is done by QAMWCDMA modulation method. KeywordsGigabit, QAM, WCDMA, DFC, Wireless Communication and BCH Code.
